Privacy Policy

Last updated: 30 June 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how J4tz (“we”, “us”), a small software development team based in Spain (European Union), handles personal data in connection with the website at j4tz.es. We are committed to data minimisation and to complying with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and applicable data-protection law.

1. The short version

This website is a simple, mostly static informational site. We do not use advertising, tracking cookies, analytics, or profiling on it. We do not sell your data, and we do not share it with data brokers or advertisers.

2. Information we process

We do not ask you to create an account on this site, and the site does not require you to submit personal data to browse it.

3. How we use this information

We use the above solely to (a) operate, secure and maintain the website, and (b) respond to and manage communications you initiate with us. We do not use it for advertising or for training artificial-intelligence or machine-learning models.

4. Legal bases (GDPR Art. 6)

We rely on our legitimate interest in operating and securing the website (Art. 6(1)(f)), and, when you contact us, on taking steps at your request and on our legitimate interest in replying (Art. 6(1)(b) and (f)).

5. Hosting and processors

The website is hosted on Google Cloud (Cloud Run, region europe-west1, Ireland), acting as a processor on our behalf. Email is handled through our email provider. These providers process data only as needed to deliver their service.

6. Data retention

Technical logs are kept only as long as needed for security and operations and are then deleted or aggregated. Email correspondence is kept for as long as needed to handle your request and any resulting relationship, and then deleted in line with our normal practices and any legal obligations.

7. International transfers

Where a provider processes data outside the European Economic Area, such transfers rely on appropriate safeguards (for example, Standard Contractual Clauses or an adequacy decision).

8. Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict or object to the processing of your personal data, and to data portability. To exercise any of these, email contact@j4tz.es. You may also lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority — in Spain, the AEPD.

9. Children

This website is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them.

10. Our products

Individual products, such as the Discord bot CordAI, have their own privacy notices that govern data processed through them; see the relevant product page (j4tz.es/cordai).

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy. The “Last updated” date above reflects the latest version.
